Tieing The Knot

An age-old saying always stands firm even today – “Marriages are made in heaven.” Yes, surely it is. That’s why they are such an auspicious part of any person’s life. Marriage is always easier said than done. With marrying comes a great load of responsibilities altogether. Parents as traditions suggest, pass on their share of worldly duties to their son and his wife (or their daughter and his husband) and seemingly complete their tenure of running a house and more so a whole family. Marriage is described in the Indian Epics as a holy coming together of two souls on their way of becoming one. Thus, if something is of that stature than it has to be easier said than done. Parents have to do a lot from searching the perfect match (making use of Indian Matrimonial Sites if you’re an Indian).

These days there is a massive trend in which parents browse the matrimony sites or go through the matrimony section of the newspapers and even give their child’s alliance into it. Notably, this is because people at times do not find the perfect match in their acquaintances. While many parents that love marriages do not end up with the result initially anticipated. Children on the other hand find matches for themselves tense days. This is a prevalent case these days. India Matrimony gets the upper hand thanks to its fragmentations. These sectional divisions are based on – castes, regions, religions, sub-castes, professions, residency and so on. Thus people can find a match exclusively catering to their demands. For e.g. a Punjabi will look for a match for his son or daughter in the section of Punjabi that contains alliances and details given by parents of other sons and daughters.

But what does one mean by matrimony? Actually, matrimony is that ritual that is carried in various cultures that officially binds a bride and groom into a certified couple. And matrimonial (a word derived from the term matrimony) is an advertisement that generally reads “alliance invited” for a probable bride or groom. For e.g. websites in India that feature matrimonial of Indian citizens are Indian Matrimonial Sites.

Now what does one look out for when searching for the appropriate match for their son or daughter? For the son and the daughter there is different requirements altogether – particularly in India. If we talk in general, there are some common attributes that are considered while parents are carrying out their search for the suitable match: age, height, profession/occupation, location, financial status, qualifications, family background, caste and so on and so forth.

Seekers may shortlist a few ads and then sort out the final one. There are mandatory contact details given in all ads. They can get in touch with it, set a meeting for the probable couple, talk amongst themselves as well and then come to the final decision. But one needs to learn that whether it is India Matrimony or not, there are frauds carried out on a huge basis.

Thus, be careful and tie the knot safely!
