Three Kinds of Foods would inhibit the Absorption of Calcium

Bone soup, milk, yogurt and other foods which can supplement calcium are necessary to us. However, even when we take lots of those foods that can supplement the calcium, our body still in a state that is lacking of calcium. Many people may wonder the reason why body can't obtain enough calcium. Perhaps, some kinds of food we eat have unconsciously leaded to the loss of calcium. The three kinds of foods following are the one who have inhibited the absorption of calcium.

The first one is high protein, which is the major cause of osteoporosis. The intake of high protein for eighty grams a time would lead to the loss of calcium for 37gram. The excessive intake of fish and meat will lead to lots of fatty acid, which would combine with calcium, and thus calcium would be discharged. The good way to solve this problem is to keep a balance between meat and vegetables. For example, you can add some tofu when stew fish, so the vitamin D in fish can promote the body's absorption of calcium that in tofu.

The second one is phosphorus which is one of the prime criminal for the loss of calcium. The proportion for a healthy body should be 1:0.5, only under this environment, can calcium be absorbed by body effectively, and plays its role. However, we would usually tempted by coke, hamburger, coffee and pizza, which can lead to the loss of calcium, because they are rich in phosphorus. If take it too much, then the proportion of calcium and phosphorus would probably be disproportion. Therefore, the superfluous phosphorus would excess calcium out body, so it is no use for you to take lots foods that can supplement calcium. Therefore, when supplement calcium; we should pay attention to the supplement of magnesium. Foods which contain magnesium such as, nuts, soybean and corn are good choice.

For people who keep a balance between meat and vegetables when eating, it is not bad to eat lots of vegetables, however, the long-term vegetarian should watch out. Because the vegetables they eat contain lots of oxalic acid and vegetable acid, which would combine with calcium and form a kind of material that finally will be discharged by intestinal tract. That's why the vegetarian would easily get rickets and osteoporosis. So when eat, the vegetarian should take vegetables that low in oxalic acid, such as, cabbage and broccoli which can provide the calcium which can be easily absorbed. And also, it can help the bones get strong and thus greatly reduce the risk of fracture.
