Emissaries of divine light is a church which was founded by Lloyd Meeker in 1932 after a conversion program of two days, and he named himself Uranda. He was the selected one- selected by God to start the world's salvation and to bring peace and enlightenment to the world. Emissaries of divine light is also known as EDL and it has approximately 3000 followers all over the world.
People from children to adults can get the membership of this church, but most of them, who accept the rules and wisdom and knowledge of the church, are young adults. Recently people, who are joining the membership of this church, are of 18-24 years of age, but mostly devotees have the age 30-40. People who are searching for a safe place for them, and want to get inner peace generally join this reserved organization.
