Pages that do not have security encryption will have http, whereas secure sites will have an added "s" on the end of the http, thus showing up as https. This means that any data sent to the website is encrypted (scrambled and encoded) and inaccessible by third parties desiring to obtain your information.
5) Read the Privacy Policy. Make sure to read the website Privacy Policy, which details what information is collected from you and how it is used. If a site doen not have at Privacy Policy, then don't linger - move on to another site.
