When I Thought About All Of The Pros And Cons, I Made The Decision To Adopt My Baby

"My decision to adopt my baby was an easy one. Simply put, I wasn't capable of bringing up my baby on my own. I feel pleased about the fact that my son will have a supportive family as he grows. And even though this decision was a no-brainer for me, I sympathize with how difficult it can be for others.

The news of an unplanned pregnancy is emotionally alarming. And many young women must make this impossible decision alone: Will I adopt my baby, or I will I struggle as an unwed mother? As progressive as society has become, there are still those who have a very staunch, moral set of guidelines.

My suggestion: Forget about things that others will say or do. Besides, you should be proud of the fact that you are thinking about all of your choices. And when you think about all that is involved, you must endure the physical experience of going through this pregnancy.

Again, don't worry about how you arrived here. Now, that you're here, spend the next several months searching for a family that is suitable to raise your child. There are a lot of adoption organizations out there for you to choose from. There are many agencies that cater to specific religious or social preferences, so talk to a few adoption counselors about the choices that are available.

And once you make your final decision, be sure to keep yourself healthy throughout your pregnancy. Make sure that you observe proper nutrition; walk on a daily basis; and visit your doctor often. And keep your close friends and loved ones near, throughout this difficult time. And while this path can be difficult, and you may doubt yourself on occasion, the journey is worth it. You gain peace of mind, and your child has a chance to live.

So, yes, you may go back and forth between the ""adopt my baby"" and ""keep my baby"" predicament. But, don't forget that you will get through this. After you've given birth, and the adoption is complete, you will need to take some time to regain your emotional well-being. It is true that you might experience feelings of sorrow, but you will always be reminded of the fact that you gave your child the gift of life.

This is a hard lesson learned, but it is truly worth saving your child. So, if you're faced with the challenge of an unplanned pregnancy, take the time to review all of the alternatives, including adoption. The choice to adopt my baby didn't ruin my life, and it won't ruin yours either. Just take a minute to do a little bit of research and explore all of your options. And in conclusion, I wish you a bright and fulfilling future, and peace of mind for your final decision."
