Suffolk in East Anglia, England, is a mostly rural county with historic treasures. Important towns in the county include Ipswich, Lowesoft, Bury St. Edmunds and Felixstowe port. The Hall was turned into a boarding school by Assumption nuns, but closed in 1974, when Hengrave Hall became an Ecumenical Retreat and Conference Centre.
