I'am Doing A Pink Tour. To Raise Funds For Breast Cancer.
I Have joined an exciting effort, the YSC Tour de Pink Atlanta. On October 16, 2010, I will join hundreds of other cyclists and walkers as we travel anywhere from 1 to 100 miles. I will be taking part in the walk/ride. I am walking in honor of my Aunt Melissa, a breast cancer survivor.
It’s a huge challenge, but I know that I can do it! The money I raise will go to support Young Survival Coalition's Atlanta Affiliate, the premier non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and education to young women affected by breast cancer. With the motto “Ride. Support. Inspire”, the YSC Tour de Pink is much more than just a ride, it’s a chance to honor survivors, raise awareness and support important programs for young women with breast cancer right here in the community.
In Metro Atlanta alone, almost 500 young women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. The Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the premier international organization dedicated increasing the quality and quantity of life for young women with breast cancer.
I have committed to raising $125 to participate in this event, but I’ve set a personal goal of raising $500. I’m asking you to make a commitment too. I know i have set the bar high with the amount but with your help we can get there. Please consider making a fully tax-deductible donation to help me achieve this goal.
